Since leaving the London College of Printing Alan Gignoux has worked for the Associated Press covering the elections in Zimbabwe and the floods in Mozambique. He has worked primarily for NGO's such as CARE and Oxfam.

He has just completed a part of an ongoing project with the British Council entitled "Homeland Lost." It is a humanistic project consisting of photographing refugees where they are today and then returning to where they came from. What has become of their villages, houses and the landscape?
