We Made Every Living Thing From Water
In this documentary film, Independent journalist Paul Cochrane and researcher Dr Karim Eid-Sabbagh investigate the political economy of water in Lebanon.
Filmed in the wake of the “trash crisis” of July 2015, the film highlights the dangerous impact environmental degradation is having on the country of Lebanon and its water resources.
The documentary looks at how the public is beginning to mobilise against the government’s disregard for ecological issues. The footage shows how politics, sectarianism, development agencies, and economics are managing – and mis-managing – Lebanon’s water resources. Alan provided lead camera work on the documentary.
